2025 FSA Enrollment Updates

No self-service elections: Employees cannot make or update 2025 FSA elections in UCPath self-service between 10/01/2025 – 11/30/2025.

Who is affected: Newly hired, newly eligible, or employees with a qualifying life event in this period.

How to enroll/update: Must submit a Benefits eForm in UCPath (steps provided, including entering “FSA Enrollment for 2025” in the explanation field).

Deadlines & paycheck impact:

Biweekly employees: eForm due by 12/08/2025 → last FSA deduction 12/17/2025.

Monthly employees: eForm due by 11/18/2025 → last FSA deduction 12/01/2025.

Coverage start: Begins the 1st of the month following enrollment, depending on payroll processing. Contributions are spread over remaining 2025 pay periods.

No carryover: Elections do not roll over. New elections required during Open Enrollment for 2026.

Self-service resumes: 12/01/2025 for 2026 FSA elections only.

Alternative option: If UCPath access is an issue, employees may request/submit a PDF enrollment form via UCPath or Ask UCPath.
